I would if the wife would let me. Instead she just gives me a list of things to do around the lake lol. We also have a good portion of the lake with on ice it. Thought we had seen the back of it grrr.

I still cant believe it - I actually keep saying to my son - i caught a 34lb'er this week :)

Incidentaly - I was using Mantis Black as the hook link which I had been tipped off about by a very successfull carp angler (no one famous)

Geoff Kemp wrote an article some years ago called "the one with your name on it".

He wrote that he felt that your fish was always there waiting for you, you just had to go out and find it.

Someone else said that catching your first 30 was like making your first million........the next ones a lot easier.

It was when i caught my first 30 .....yet to get anywhere with my first million.

went to France for the weekend to look at lakes with my mates .........b****y freezing . Lakes being fished not a lot of action, banks quite icy and frozen.

On one of the lakes a french lad had "caught a 20 kg fish" but as a team of dutch lads said .....they didnt see it ...he didnt have a sack or a camara......

When we went along to see him he was a friend of the owner.... Oh and there was a camara on the floor.

Massive water though, quite deep, but loads of work needs to be done....swim clearing, toilets and other facilities.

I do hope you are right mate.

In my opinion TC is the easiest site to negotiate, The most comprehensive site, it has an enormous amount of info, great supporters and likewise great members...............but where are they .

Like others have mentioned every time i log on it is just me with a handful of guests.

I always felt it to be less cliqueee (is that a word ) than other sites and considering it is mainly independant ( no huge sponsors ) i cannot understand why it has dramatically lost its appeal.......not to me i have to say but .....flogging a dead horse springs to mind.

I would be a great shame if it didnt pick up and carry on .

me, and im sooo glad i decided to, after a long cold winter, the lakes have woken into early spring and the fish have an appetite to rival a bear fresh from hibernation.

although i do pitty those who dont have the luxury of a caravan on their peg ;)

one of my mates done this and ended up paying more than what it would be to buy the item from the shop!!!!,because if someone hasnt a clue what it is worth and puts a daft bid in,it will automatically keep bidding until you win it,bit gutting though when you know you can get it cheaper in the shop.

Is anyone else frustrated at being outbid in the last seconds.

Have been bidding on some stuff and putting in a max bid, going

to work, coming home and my bid is still good.

I sit here with the laptop and every time i get done in the

I finally done it - but skipped the twenties and went straight from 15 to 34lb
